OUTFIT: WOODLAND WALK

Last Tuesday me and George took a walk through the woods in search of pine cones. In case you didn't know, we'll be getting married this September and are planning a beautifully rustic, autumnal wedding with lots of wood, fairy lights, hessian and pine cones. You can take a nosy at my wedding board over on Pinterest to get a better idea, if you're interested!

JACKET: ZARA
JUMPER: SUPERDRY
JEANS: TOPSHOP
BEANIE: H&M

I'm pretty much living in this leather jacket at the moment, with various combinations of jumpers and jeans. I've also rediscovered my love for beanies recently. You can't beat a comfortable outfit during these cold and dreary months.

We may just have our very first YouTube video in the works, which was filmed on this day, so keep a look out for that ;)

OUTFIT: MUSTARD & LEATHER

Yesterday was a pretty productive Saturday for me and George. In between running some errands, visiting parents, walking to the local fabric shop, working on Midgins' and booking our wedding photographer (yay!!) we managed to take a handful of outfit photos in the park. It's been a while since I've put together a style post on my blog, mostly due to working so much on my Etsy shop, and also from feeling a little uninspired by my dated wardrobe. But since Christmas has been and gone, I've gained a bunch of lovely new items to wear.

I bought these converse in an Office sale a few months back,
but they literally haven't left my feet since.

I've got two pairs of the Topshop Joni jeans and they are the most comfortable things ever. They are super high waisted and the most perfect fit I've come across. I pretty much just alternate between these and my burgundy pair and have basically forgotten any other jeans existed..

JUMPER: ASOS
JONI JEANS: TOPSHOP
LEATHER JACKET: ZARA
BACKPACK: NEW LOOK
CONVERSE: OFFICE

A faux leather jacket was top of my Christmas list and I searched high and low until finding this beauty in Zara. I just know I'll end up wearing it with everything, but I thought it looked especially cute with mustard.

SNUGGLY KNIT

JUMPER: SUPERDRY
JEANS: PULL & BEAR
JACKET: JOE BROWNS
BACKPACK: URBAN OUTFITTERS

Snuggly knitwear is my absolute favourite! This outfit was just something super simple and comfortable that I wore a couple of weekends ago to run some errands and hang out with friends. The jumper is from work and is one of my favourite pieces from there this season. The skinny jeans are from Pull & Bear and are one of the best pairs I've ever owned. They have plenty of stretch but still appear tight fitting and I have yet to notice any fading. There's nothing worse than black jeans that don't stay really black for long, so these are a winner considering I've had them for almost a year. I decided to throw on this old denim jacket since it wasn't quite cold enough for a big coat and I thought it needed some attention. I'm still not particularly fond of it and I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect winter denim jacket, with a borg collar and lining, to keep me snug in the cold!

PAISLEY AND CROCHET

DRESS: MINKPINK, VIA ASOS
CARDIGAN: FAT FACE
BOOTS: ASOS

This is one of my absolute favourite dresses, all year round. It was perfect in the summer as it's so lightweight, but I'm loving it now with tights or leggings and a thick cardigan. I'm sure I got this in an Asos sale a while back and was pretty chuffed since Minkpink have some really awesome pieces. I was unsure of this cardigan at first since it's so long and I'm so short, but it works quite well with shorter dresses or denim shorts. This was another sale find at the end of summer from Fat Face. I rarely buy clothes full price any more, but it seems so much more satisfying that way! Have you found any bargains lately?

AUTUMNAL

TOP & SHORTS: RIVER ISLAND
COAT: ZARA, VIA EBAY
BOOTS: ASOS

The seasons are changing (yay!) so here is a recent autumnal outfit. The top and shorts were both purchased in the summer but are definitely versatile pieces that can be worn all year round. The time has come to start wearing tights again, so I love being able to continue wearing my denim shorts. I think the wrap around style of this top is super flattering and the mesh sleeves just make it a bit more edgy. The fabric is lovely and soft as well, and just feels like really nice quality.

I mentioned this coat in my previous 'Things that made me happy this week' post. It's a recent eBay find and I am so looking forward to wrapping up in it once it gets chilly outside. I really love the classic, vintage feel of a wool coat, and I can see it being worn with loads of different outfits.

As for the boots, they haven't really left my feet much since I got them. They are ridiculously comfortable and I wish they came in other colours so I could have them all..

SUMMER STROLLING

T-shirt / Asos
Dungarees / New Look (old)
Vans

Sometimes it's easy to forget that my home town is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and countryside, so on Saturday me and George decided to spend the afternoon exploring. It was so nice to just walk for miles, have a chat and forget about everything else. How have you been making the most of this perfect weather?

I have an almost identical post from last summer right here. I can't believe it was a whole year ago!

SUMMER JOGGERS

T-shirt / Noisy May via Asos
Joggers / River Island
Wedges / Pull & Bear
Sunglasses / Red Herring, Debenhams
Watch / Asos

I've been wanting some summery trousers for ages now and recently spotted a few pairs of printed joggers in River Island. I played it safe with a black and white pair, since I don't feel brave enough to wear brightly coloured ones, however these are still suitably funky and I love the mixture of prints. They are incredibly comfortable and lightweight and I have no doubt that I will be living in them for the majority of summer ;) I've been pairing them with this plain cropped t-shirt from asos which was £4 in the sale!
I bought these wedges to wear to my brother's wedding last weekend and I absolutely adore them. I actually went shopping having already browsed the internet and set my sights on a pair of wedges from Urban Outfitters, however they were sold out in my size when I got there. Luckily enough I popped into Pull & Bear and stumbled upon these, which were even better than the ones I originally wanted! I was a very happy bunny :)
