Dress / River Island
Cardigan / Asos
Wedges / Topshop
Everything in this outfit is actually really old. My wardrobe needs updating so I've been selling loads of unwanted clothes on ebay recently. It helps to make some extra cash so I can buy new things but it's also really satisfying to come across clothes I haven't worn in ages and actually still love. This cardigan from asos is a couple of years old now and I pretty much forgot it existed. I still love the cropped fit and the military style pockets and buttons. It's really lightweight too so it's perfect for summer. I bought the dress in a River Island sale ages ago but it was a bit of an impulse buy, so I wasn't sure if I liked it enough to wear it. I tried it on again recently and was pleasantly surprised! I can't believe I haven't worn it before now, so I'm sure I'll get plenty more use out of it now.
It's definitely worth re-evaluating your clothes before you chuck them out or continue buying more. Especially if you're trying to save money and space like I am! Why not try on everything you haven't worn in the last 6 months - 1 year and see if you can make some "new" outfits?!
One thing I have just purchased is this Barry M nail polish in Rose Hip. I tend to treat myself to some new colours when pay day comes around, and there's often a 3 for 2 offer in Superdrug or Boots ;) This is one of the colours I picked at the weekend, and it's actually quite an unusual choice for me. It looks more white in the photo but it's actually a very pale, pastel pink. I'm not usually drawn to pink, but I think it's starting to grow on me :)
